Personnel of the chair
In the faculty there are the folowing courses:
- Doctor of general practice - introduction in the speciality,
- Disaster medicine,
- Skin and venereal diseases
Classes are taught for students of 4 and 6 years of education of the Faculty of Medicine on the basis of Emergency Hospital, First Aid Station, Republican diagnostic centre, and dermatovenerology clinic.
On the chair training in clinical internship on the following specialities is accomplished:
1) general medical practice (family medicine)
2) internal diseases
3) pulmonology
4) skin and venereal diseases.
The postgraduate study on pulmonology and internal diseases is open.
Post-graduate student - Zhestiannikov Andrey Lvovich, speciality of "internal diseases", theme is "Characteristic of microelement status of patients vegetative-vascular dystonia living in Karelia".
The qualified teachers of the chair actively participate in work of faculty of improvement of professional skill of medical workers - retraining of doctors who worked on probation on specialities of general medical practice - family medicine, internal illnesses, pulmonology, skin and venereal diseases. On the basis of the chair remote methods of training are developed,
the Medical educational centre of preparation of doctors of the general practice in the Republic of Karelia is created.
