Russian Language Ambassadors to the World in Azerbaijan
Volunteers of the international program “Russian Language Ambassadors to the World” visited Azerbaijan and held classes in the Russian language, literature, and culture for the pupils of the School No. 18 n.a. Mikayil Mushfig in Baku. Among the members of the delegation was Varvara Samarkina, the student of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences of PetrSU.
The volunteers performed diverse tasks, as Russian-speaking children participated alongside the children studying in the Azarbaijanian language. In the course of a week, the Ambassadors have also been teaching Azerbaijani children Russian folk dances and playing spoons. The children demonstrated their newly learned skills at the concert that closed the educational expedition.
This visit was distinguished by the work with the students of the Azerbaijan University of Languages. The Russian Language Ambassadors and their leader the Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and Cross-cultural Communication of the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute Tatiana Kudoiarova visited the Russian Information and Cultural Center in Baku. There they took part in the seminar held by the Russian Language Resource Center of the RICC.
