Over Five Hundred First-year Students of PetrSU Visited the National Museum of Karelia in 2017
Throughout the first term, the first-year students have been visiting the museum and getting to know the history and culture of the Karelian land.
The exhibition “Rick chronicle. Archeology of Karelia” introduces petroglyphs, carved 8 thousand years ago by ancient hunters and fishermen, archeological finds from the sites of the Neolithic era. Other exhibitions of the museum cover the history of the region from the 9th to the 20th century.
Visits to the National museum have become a good tradition among the first-year students during their adaptation period.
