PetrSU at the International Week of Savonia University of Applied Sciences
The Associate Professor Natalia Kolesnikova took part in the International Week of Savonia University of Applied Sciences (Kuopio, Finland).
This year the International Week convened 60 teachers from 27 countries (France, Spain, Belgium, Germany, China, Estonia, Costa Rica etc.)
The participants visited various units of Savonia University, took part in workshops on cooperation in education, learned about the best practices of developing educational programs in different areas.
Natalia Kolesnikova read lectures “Specific Features of Russian Customers and their Social Media Bahaviour” for the 2nd year Savonia students of the Tourism program, and took part in several events dedicated to applying for the ENI Karelia CBC and developing new joint course E-marketing in Tourism, which the teachers of the Department of Tourism of the IPCST of PetrSU and Savonia University plan to implement as a part of their curricula.
The course aims at development of a strategy for promoting the services rendered by tourism organizations of the Republic of Karelia and Finland in social media, which will increase students’ skills in the area of marketing in international market and support local entrepreneurs in the framework of roadmaps for the development of cooperation between PetrSU and the regions of the Republic.
The visit took place in the framework of the FIRST+ program.
