Students of the School of Information Security are the Best in Sports Hacking
Tyumen held Open Russian Contest in the area of information security in CTF (Capture The Flag) format, TyumenCTF.
Teams solve tasks on information security and earn points for correct answers. Number of points per task depends on difficulty and number of successful teams.
Over 350 teams competed for the victory, and in the end, the schoolchildren team bin/bask from Petrozavodsk came up on top. The pupils took the first place among school teams and the 12th place in the overall ranking.
Altogether Petrozavodsk was represented by 18 participants, many of whom study at the School of Information Security of PetrSU.
The School teaches students to make quick decisions and solve non-trivial problems.
The classes are free of charge, attendance is open.
