Webinar “Wildacha – Developing Small Business in Tourism”
Within the project of the “Karelia” Cross-Border Cooperation Program KA1020 “Business and information cooperation in the area of booking of small accommodation online Wildacha” Petrozavodsk hosted a webinar for owners of guest houses.
The seminar was organized by the Department of Tourism of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism of PetrSU in cooperation with the lead partner of the project the IKS-systems Company.
Among the attendants of the seminar were owners of small accommodation (mini hotels, guest houses, etc.), employees of tourist agencies, representatives of educational institutions, local authorities, altogether over 70 people.
The project manager Ksenia Panova presented the project and told about its current stage of implementation.
Reports of the speakers, PetrSU teachers, covered pressing issues of legal regulation of rendering services in guest houses, taxation in entrepreneurship, factoring environment in entrepreneurship, as well as the energy efficiency of small accommodation.
The participants of the seminar took interest in the reports, asked a lot of questions in the chat. All attendants have been awarded certificates of participation in the webinar.
The project KA1020 “Business and information cooperation in the area of booking of small accommodation online Wildacha” will continue until October 2019.
Wildacha.ru is a service of online booking of cottages and guest houses. The service is designed for enthusiasts of nature and outdoor activities and aims at cross-border social and economic development of the two regions: Finnish Karelia and Russian Karelia.
