International Students Learned about the Kizhi Museum
The Laboratory of Linguistic Regional Studies and Language Ecology of the Humanities Innovation Park of PetrSU hosted a class at which the international students of the Preparatory Faculty learned about the wooden architecture of Karelia and the Kizhi Island.
The class was held by Candidate of Philological Sciences, an employee of the Kizhi Open-Air Museum Marina Babalyk.
The foreigners learned about the unique historical, cultural and natural complex that is a highly prized cultural heritage site of the people of Russia, the ensemble of the Kizhi Pogost, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Marina Babalyk invited the students to visit the Kizhi Museum and gifted them postcards with Petrozavodsk.
