The Humanities Park of PetrSU Hosted Award Ceremony for TruD Participants
Within the global educational event Total Dictation, the international students of PetrSU took part in the TruD test. TruD (Total Russian Dictant) is a comprehensive test designed specifically for people studying Russian as a foreign language. It consists of several tasks of different difficulty. The maximum number of points available is 100. The organizers were pleased that the top ten participants of the TruD scored over 87 points. The participants were welcomed by the employees of the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language of the Institute of Philology Candidate of Philological Science and Associate Professor Andrey Kotov and Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor Natalia Urvantseva.
The Vice-Rector for International Affairs Marina Gvozdeva took part in the ceremony and awarded certificates to the 10 best participants of the TruD:
“We are happy that our international students know Russian so well. It means that our teachers give substantial knowledge and instill love for the Russian language. We hope that in the upcoming year you will once again take part in the TruD dictation and show even better results.”
According to the results, the best writers of the TruD are Orazova Guncha (98 points), Raymov Geldimyrat (95 points), Chinzurkh Munkhsolongo (92 points), Xu Junzhao (92 points), Wu Zhenyu (89 points).
After the award ceremony, the students of the Preparatory Faculty recited the poem by Sobir Abdulla Learn the Russian Language.
