Nordic and Baltic Studies Review Included in ERIH PLUS
On June 26, 2019, the scientific electronic journal of PetrSU Nordic and Baltic Studies Review (chief editor the Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor Irina Takala) was included into the European Reference Index for Humanities (ERIH PLUS): The processing of the journal “Nordic and Baltic Studies Review” has been finalized. The journal is published at PetrSU since 2016 (established by FENNICA of PetrSU and NORDICA of the Institute of Language, Literature and History of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences). The journal is interdisciplinary and has proven to be an efficient international scientific platform that unites specialists from different countries studying history, international relations, economics, culture, literature, languages of the peoples of the Northern countries and the Baltic Sea region. The editorial office features distinguished scientists from different countries of the world, the journal is published in the Russian and English languages.
The three published almanacs include over 80 academic papers (articles, reviews, source publications, conference proceedings). Geography of contributors is ever expanding: the journal cooperates with scientists from Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Estonia, Latvia, the USA, and many scientific centers of Russia (Petrozavodsk, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Arkhangelsk, Veliky Novgorod, Murmansk, Voronezh, Crimea). The number of readers is always increasing as well.
Nordic and Baltic Studies Review is included in the Russian Science Citation Index, Swedish national reference database LIBRIS, Finnish national system of ranking quality of scientific publications JUFO and Ulrich’s Periodicals Directory. The journal is indexed in Crossref and is available at the CyberLeninka electronic library.
