PetrSU Students Won at the “My University” Video Contest in Foreign Languages
The 2nd year students of the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences studying on the program “International Relations” won the prizes of the 2nd interuniversity contest of student video projects in foreign languages “My University” among students, Master Degree students, postgraduates of all programs and levels of proficiency in a foreign language.
The contest admitted individual and group video projects in foreign languages (English, German, French, Chinese) created within foreign language courses and general educational programs. Video projects were appraised in genres: informational, image-building and dramatic. This year the organizers broadened the range of the topics:
· Research at university (research projects, areas, scientists, laboratories, centers);
· My university/faculty/program/course;
· Students’ projects (research/study/volunteer);
· My video CV
The contest featured over 60 video projects from 20 leading technical and liberal arts universities of Russia.
Under the guidance of the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages for Humanities Lilya Yusupova students of the IHPSS of PetrSU took part in several topical categories of the contest in the English language.
The project of Sergey Kashirov Problems of Russian-Norwegian Relations was awarded the 2nd-degree diploma in the category “Research” on a par with the project of students from Moscow representing the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas.
The project of Kirill Kalianov International Relations at PetrSU received the 3rd-degree diploma in the category “My Educational Program”.
A participation certificate was awarded to the group project Importance of Renewable Resources (Anton Erin, Roman Sleptsov, Denis Matyukhin).
The contest was organized by Novosibirsk State Technical University within the Flagship University Development Program for 2017-2020.
