PetrSU Entered the New BRICS Ranking
The ranking includes 600 educational institutions from 10 countries of the association: Brazil, Egypt, India, Iran, China, the United Arab Emirates, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Ethiopia and South Africa.
The largest number of participants in the ranking - 207 universities - are located in China, in second place is Russia (161 universities), and third place in this parameter is taken by India (93 universities). Next come Brazil (55 universities) and Iran (27 universities), all other participating countries have less than 20 universities in the final list.
The methodology of the BRICS university ranking is based on the approaches to compiling the global list "Three University Missions" - the first academic ranking, widely discussed at the international level from the early stages of its creation. At the same time, changes were made to the rating model to take into account the national characteristics of educational institutions in the BRICS countries. The rating answers the question: "Which universities harmoniously implement three key missions: educational, scientific, social?" The rating is based on verifiable objective indicators and does not use subjective expert assessments.
