Preparatory Department

You have decided to study at PetrSU but you have little or no proficiency in Russian? We invite you to apply for the Pre-University Foundation Program at our Preparatory Department. The Program begins in October and ends in June.

Admission period: June, 1st − August. 31st

Study fees for academic year 2025-2026: 160 000 rubles

Dormitory fees: about 1000 rubles per month

In order to apply for this program, please send us the following documents (JPEG or PDF):

• a legible clear high-quality scan or photo of your international passport
• a scan of your secondary school certificate with the academic transcript / a scan of your Bachelor's diploma with the academic transcript (in case you are applying then for a Master's program)
• a filled out application form
• a brief motivation letter (in English)
• a vaccination history certificate (required vaccinations: diphteria (not older than 10 years), measles, hepatitis B/HB)
