Dear teachers, staff, students, graduate students of Petrozavodsk State University, dear veterans!

On behalf of the Rector’s office, I cordially congratulate you on the upcoming New Year and Merry Christmas!

The New Year 2024 is approaching, with which we pin hopes for positive changes and achieving new life goals. Before the chimes ring, we say goodbye to the outgoing year 2023, which made us stronger, taught us something new, and enriched us with interesting meetings and people.

The New Year 2024, like all previous ones, poses new tasks for us and poses another challenge, but I am confident that our joint work will continue to produce positive results. Only by joining forces will we be able to preserve and increase the great potential that we have achieved, so that at the end of the year we can proudly say to ourselves: “We did it! We made our dreams come true!”

And today we are excitedly awaiting the holiday and strive to do something important for our loved ones, please them with gifts, surround them with attention, and also help those who need our support before opening a new page in life.

Of course, every family has its own New Year traditions, but we are all united by a wonderful atmosphere of kindness and care and, of course, the hope that only positive news and events, pleasant surprises and successful starts await us in the new year.

I cordially congratulate you on the upcoming New Year! Let the New Year holidays set the mood for the whole year, be the beginning of something wonderful, and give a lot of bright impressions and happy moments.
