Студенческая научная конференция ПетрГУ: заседание секции «Contemporary Issues in Computer and Information Sciences»
В работе секции приняли участие студенты 1-ого курса магистратуры ИМИТ ПетрГУ направлений подготовки «Прикладная математика и информатика» и «Информационные системы и технологии» (гр. 22503, 22505). Были представлены 20 докладов на английском языке о теоретических и практических вопросах, исследуемых студентами в рамках тем магистерских диссертаций. При оценке выступлений учитывались языковая грамотность, структура, наглядность, содержательность докладов и презентаций.
Определены следующие победители:
Диплом I степени – Никита Дроздовский, доклад на тему «Algorithms for solving a fixed point problem in non-linear high dimensional systems».
Диплом II степени – Арсений Миролюбов («Quantitative forecasting of financial time series using neural networks and decision trees») и Трофим Алексеев («The task of loading trucks with paper mill products»).
Диплом III степени – Диана Долгалева («Distributed computing for the gene network expansion») и Антон Климов («Text analysis: the Delta method»).
В кратких отзывах студенты отметили высокий уровень подготовки участников и хорошую организацию научного мероприятия:
The conference was well organized. All the participants were well prepared; the presentations were logical and understandable. Many participants were interested in the speeches of the other speakers; the interesting questions were asked. (Анна С.)

Unfortunately, I was not present but I am sure it was a remarkable and interesting conference because I had seen how my groupmates had been preparing. I am sorry that I was not there. I am glad that one of my groupmates took the 2nd place. (С.Роман).
