Additionally Linguistic Centre provides special training courses for preparation for international exams:

• TOEFL (iBT)
• TORFL (for foreign applicants)
• TOLES

Education is formed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for languages – the international system of levels of foreign language proficiency. At SFL each level is taught 1 or 2 semesters.

Educational programs correspond to the level of your knowledge, your desires and goals, whereas the cast of teachers include qualified professionals with extensive experience. You will be able not only to improve your knowledge, but also to get acquainted with the traditions and culture of a foreign language you would like to learn.

Education is organized by semesters in spring and fall, each comprising 3 months and 50 academic hours. There are 6 levels of training - from “beginners” (A1) to “advanced” (C2). Groups are usually formed from 5 to 12 people. All the training materials are already included in the price. The schedule depends on the students themselves. Classes are usually held twice a week in the evening time.

Participants of the courses receive a PetrSU LC certificate upon completion of each semester.

We provide free testing before the start of courses in order to determine your current level of language proficiency.

The TOEFL test is the most widely respected English-language test in the world, recognized by more than 8,000 colleges, universities and agencies in more than 130 countries. From August 2011 Linguistic Centre is the Official Centre for the TOLES. TOLES means Test of Legal English skills. The TOLES exams are the world’s market leaders in legal English exams.
