PetrSU Employees at the Final Session of the International Project
Arkhangelsk hosted the final session of the international project “Power of Creativity” supported by the Nordic Council of Ministers. The project is focused on the development of entrepreneurship in creative industries.
The Head of the Department of Tourism of the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism Natalia Kolesnikova presented her report on the implementation of an entrepreneurial approach to tourism education.
The representative of the Department of Technology, Fine Arts and Design Natalia Ilina elaborated on the pressing issues of developing open resource spaces in the world, Russia, and Karelia. Natalia told about the activities of the University School of Arts of PetrSU, an an open resource space in the field of arts, cinema, and design that combines educational training with the creation of interdisciplinary project group.
The project has been implemented in the course of two years. The participants of the project are representatives of universities, experts and specialists of creative industries of Denmark, Iceland, Norway, the Faroe Islands, Finland, and Russia. Among the Russian universities are the Higher School of Economics (St. Petersburg), ITMO, NARFU, PetrSU. The foreign participants of the session were the representatives of the Kaospilots, Via University College Multiplatform Storytelling and Production (Aarhus).
During the visit, the participants discussed further international cooperation in the Northern region.
PetrSU representatives also visited Arkhangelsk Pedagogic College where they held career orientation events and introduced prospective students to the Institute of Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Institute of Pedagogic and Psychology.
