PetrSU Became One of 39 Universities that Won the Grant Competition of the Movement of the First!
Petrozavodsk State University has been named among the winners of the Movement of the First grant competition.
A total of 5,307 applications from 89 regions of the Russian Federation were submitted, and only 39 universities across the country were awarded the honorary status of winner.
As part of the competition, PetrSU presented the "MolodoSeverno" (Youthful North) program for developing the creative potential of children and youth, which will receive over 8 million rubles. The program is aimed at creating conditions for the self-realization of the younger generation and includes a range of significant events:
— a Youth Creative Festival and a gala concert;
— a week-long forum named after Robert Rozhdestvensky, the program of which includes a thematic concert and specialized master classes to prepare for the regional stage of the "Russian School Spring" (RSS) for students in Petrozavodsk;
— the implementation of off-site events in five districts of the Republic of Karelia, during which project experts and mentors will provide methodological support to schoolchildren in preparing creative performances for participation in the Russian School Spring until November 2026.

The grant competition of the Movement of the First is an opportunity to support the best initiatives aimed at the development and self-fulfillment of the younger generation as part of the National Project "Youth and Children."
