PetrSU Students are Prize-Winners of the European Championship
Moscow hosted 2019 European Artistic Dance Championships that convened representatives of 17 countries.
The Republic of Karelia was represented by the students of Petrozavodsk State University that attend the Ragtime sports dance studio, solo dance Latin American dance group.
The contestants were assessed by an international jury that awarded the prizes in the following way:
The 1st place and the title of the European Champion was awarded to Elizaveta Grigorieva, a graduate of the Institute of Foreign Languages of 2018
The 2nd place was taken by Anastasia Kindrashina (the Institute of Medicine)
The 3rd place – Polina Guliaeva (the Institute of Medicine)
The 6th place – Elena Lupish (the Institute of History, Political and Social Sciences
Among the contestants also were Arina Ganzhina (the Institute of Medicine), Alina Ukkoeva (the Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agricultural Technologies), Irina Matveeva (the Institute of Medicine).
