PetrSU Karelian Souvenir Performed at Tea Festival

Petrozavodsk hosted the Tea Festival, one of the events of the international cooperation between Karelia and the Chinese Fujian Province.

The Karelian Souvenir Ensemble of PetrSU together with the Kantele national song and dance ensemble, other creative groups of the Republic and the lead singer of Peking State Opera Li Xiaofeng took part in the opening ceremony of the festival.  Dramatized dance routine, which the participants of the event have been rehearsing in the course of a week under the guidance of a Moscow director, told the audience about the introduction of tea to Russia (Karelia).

At the evening gala concert, PetrSU ensemble performed dances Katyusha and Old Karelian dance.
