Hackathon "Workplace Learning: Russia and China"
The student project office "PRO.UM" of the Pedagogic Innopark of PetrSU hosted a workplace learning conference "Hackathon: Russia and China" on the occasion of Children's Day.
Within the framework of the meeting, students of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education presented the projects under the guidance of Associate Professor Irina Komarova.
Irina Komarova, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education, Head of the Student Design Office "PRO.UM", delivered a welcoming speech.
The conference featured the presentation of students’ projects prepared jointly with primary school pupils of the secondary school No. 3 of Medvezhyegorsk, secondary school of Rassvetovsk, secondary school No. 27 and secondary school No. 12 of Petrozavodsk as well as school of Shanghai (China).
Zhu Weiqiang, teacher of the Vocational and Technical College of Business (Nanqiao, Fengxia District, Shanghai) and Zhu Mingzhou, Bachelor’s student of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology delivered an online lecture on "How Chinese schoolchildren choose professions?" to the guests and participants of the "Hackathon. Workplace Learning: Russia and China".
The invited experts of the conference "Hackathon. Workplace Learning: Russia and China" included Svetlana Bachoi, member of the Legislative Assembly of the Republic of Karelia, member of the Committee on Education, Culture, Sports and Youth Policy; Elena Kolechenok, specialist in youth affairs of the Department of Regional Cooperation, regional coordinator of the Russian movement of schoolchildren in Karelia, Federal State Budgetary Institution "Russian Children and Youth Center"; Alina Mironova, primary school teacher, Petrozavodsk.
Following a summary, Pedagogic park of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology of PetrSU organized an excursion to the "Masters’ town" for the guests and participants of the conference. The excursion was held by Tatiana Voloshina, Head of the Department of Technology, Fine Arts and Design, Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, PetrSU.
