The Global Sawmill Industry Leader Continues Its Cooperation with PetrSU Small Innovative Enterprise OptiSoft

The company takes top places in rankings for efficiency and production volumes. 

The summer of 2022 was marked by a successful continuation of OptiSoft's (100% founded by PetrSU) collaboration with one of the world's leading sawmills, Ilim Timber Bavaria (Landsberg am Lech, Germany). 

OptiSoft signed its first contract with a sawmill in the Bavarian town of Landsberg am Lech in Germany to develop a software system for optimum production planning in 2019. Since then, the contractual relationship has continued every year, both in terms of support for the implemented Opti-Sawmill optimal production planning system, as well as the introduction of new modules. 

This summer the new module, Calendar Planning, was successfully completed after about a year of delivery. 

The factory now has the ability to automatically calculate schedules, forecast the results of production programs and optimise production and sales. 

The contractual relationship with the German partner continues after completion of the implementation. A maintenance contract has been agreed for the next 12 months until the end of August 2023.
