Summer Programs at the Linguistic Center of PetrSU
In July of this year, Su Hongquan, a teacher at the Shanghai Vocational College of Foreign Languages for Industry and Commerce, came to the Linguistic Center of PetrSU to study Russian.
An intensive course awaited him, including grammar, oral practice, reading and regional studies. During his studies in Petrozavodsk, Su Hongquan not only studied the Russian language and became acquainted with Russian culture, but also actively traveled across Karelia and the Russian North. He visited Moscow, the Hero City of Murmansk and the pearl of Karelian culture – the Kizhi Island.
“Petrozavodsk is a beautiful and unique northern city. I liked it immediately. For me, this is the ideal place for a summer holiday. I plan to return here in winter to continue studying Russian”, Su Hongquan shared his impressions.
It is worth noting that this is not the first time Su Hongquan comes to Russia. Before this, he had already studied Russian for several months, studied in the Far East and even passed the international exam for Russian language proficiency TRKI-1.
We wish Su Hongquan success in his further study of the Russian language and look forward to seeing him again in Petrozavodsk to prepare and pass TRKI-2.
