PetrSU Is Again on the List of the Best Universities in the World in the Global Ranking "Three University Missions"
The eighth annual ranking "Three University Missions" in 2024 included 2,000 universities from 112 countries. Russia was represented in the world ranking by 152 universities from 45 regions of the country, including Petrozavodsk State University.
In the prestigious list, PetrSU ranks 13th among universities in the Northwestern Federal District.
The Moscow International University Ranking (the "Three University Missions" ranking) is a fundamentally new academic ranking that for the first time evaluates all three key missions of a university: education, science, and interaction with society. The ranking methodology underwent a large-scale public discussion, in which over 100 universities took part.
Objective criteria approved by international experts were used to compile the ranking. At the same time, the list of sources of information for the rating is much wider than those traditionally used in existing popular ratings - these are official data from universities and government bodies, data from independent international sources, the largest mass education platforms, a publicly available multilingual universal encyclopedia, search engines, social networks, web analytics data and thematic websites. Reputation surveys are completely excluded.
The formation of the rating "Three University Missions" was initiated by the Russian Union of Rectors in accordance with the instructions of the President of Russia V.V. Putin. The rating operator is the Association of Compilers of Ratings, Rankings and Other Efficiency Assessments (ACR), whose members are leading rating and research centers.
