PetrSU Entered the Top 20 of the Ranking of IT Universities in Russia 2025

PetrSU entered the top 20 best universities in Russia in terms of salaries of IT specialists who graduated from the university in 2019-2024.

According to the analysis, PetrSU graduates working as IT specialists earn an average of 135 thousand rubles per month. The share of graduates who remained in the city of study increased compared to last year and is 85%.

The rating includes state universities: classical and specialized technical universities.

When preparing the rating, CVs for linear and managerial positions in the fields of development, information security, software testing, DevOps, analytics, data research, machine learning, and data engineering were considered.

The rating also took into account universities whose students are winners of major international student Olympiads.

IT specialists at PetrSU are trained at the Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies and at the Institute of Physics and Technology in the areas of "Informatics and Computer Science", "Information Systems and Technology" and "Software Engineering".
