The Linguistic Center of PetrSU Is Holding an Adaptation Course for Migrant Workers
The adaptation course is organized jointly with the Federal Agency for Ethnic Affairs, the Ministry of National Policy of the Republic of Karelia, and the Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Karelia, the Periodika Publishing House.
The course program covers key aspects that contribute to the successful integration of foreign citizens into Russian society. Participants receive information on Russian migration and labor legislation and become familiar with the fundamentals of the spiritual and moral culture and traditions of the peoples of Russia. This comprehensive approach allows foreign citizens not only to better navigate the legal framework but also to gain a deeper understanding of the cultural and social diversity of our country.
For the convenience of participants, informational materials covering the main aspects of the program have been prepared, making the training as accessible and visual as possible.
The adaptation course promotes intercultural understanding and fosters an atmosphere of respect and cooperation between representatives of different peoples and faiths arriving and residing in the Russian Federation.

By the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated December 10, 2024, No. 3641-r, Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution Petrozavodsk State University is included in the list of state institutions that conduct examinations in Russian as a foreign language, Russian history, and the fundamentals of Russian legislation.
