Scientists of Petrozavodsk State University and Chungbuk National University develop new materials for magneto-optic devices.

The Laboratory of Physics of Smart Nanomaterials of Petrozavodsk State University (PetrSU) cooperates with one of the universities of the Republic of Korea – Chungbuk National University.

The joint project is titled “Modeling, synthesis and research of the properties of nanostructured magnetoplasma materials”.

On the Russian side, the project is coordinated by PetrSU Professor Aleksandr Grishin, an internationally acclaimed expert in the area of magneto-optic photonic crystals with record performance specifications.
