PetrSU Scientists at the Conference of the Federation of European Physiological Societies (FEPS)
The conference was organized by the Italian Physiological Society Bologna Italy. It was the 70th Italian Congress of SIF.
The conference venue was the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. Physiologists from the countries of Europe, Asia, Africa, and America presented their results of fundamental and applied studies in various areas of physiology and shared practices of teaching physiology at universities.
Petrozavodsk University was represented by Professor of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology, Pathophysiology, Histology of the Institute of Medicine Liudmila Gerasimova-Meigal. She delivered two reports on the implementation of the project on using the method of “dry” immersion for the rehabilitation of patients with Parkinson's disease. The research is carried out at PetrSU by a research group led by Professor Aleksandr Meigal. The participants of the conference took a keen interest in the work of PetrSU. The research results are published in Acta PhysiologicaI (Q1, impact factor 5.868).
