Discussion on Scientific Issues of Fuzzy Knowledge Systems and Methods of Data Mining

The 6th International Online Conference on Fuzzy Systems and Data Mining (FSDM 2020) was held at Huaqiao University. This issue is becoming more popular in the scientific community due to the growth of artificial intelligence applications and the Internet of Things for developing digital economy and society.

Dmitry Korzun,Associate Professor, was invited to participate in the conference (Institute of Mathematics and Information Technologies of PetrSU (https://imit.petrsu.ru/), Head of the Data Mining Laboratory (https://petrsu.ru/structure/7766/laboratoriya-intelle)).

Dmitry Korzun reported on Smart Assistance Services based on Multisource Sensing and Data Mining in Tactile Internet. The report has reflected promising scientific developments ofPetrSUaimed at elaboration of such a concept of the modern Internet as "tactile Internet". This concept allows considering the Internet with its components and processes as a “living system”,which can be seen and perceived (i.e. virtually “touched”) in real time. In order to implement this concept, PetrSU scientists use their competencies in the field of Internet of Things, sensorics, mobile and internal programming, peripheral Internet computing, recommendation systems, software engineering and smart microelectronics.
