In 2020, Liudmila Gerasimova-Meigal, professor of the Department of Human and Animal Physiology, Pathophysiology, Histology, cooperated with Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute. MDPI includes over 200 open-access scientific journals.
Liudmila Gerasimova-Meigal has received the Certificate for successfully reviewing the papers for MDPI journals (Data, Sports, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health) and submitting the article to Pathophysiology journal.
The article "Evidence of Autonomic Dysfunction in Patients with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis: Heart Rate Variability and Cardiovascular Parameters" (9 pages) was published in the first issue of this year’s journal and co-written by Ilya Sirenev and Aleksandr Meigal. The article provides an assessment of disorders of the autonomic nervous system of patients with multiple sclerosis using the analysis of heart rate variability and cardiovascular tests.
