A Delegation from Uzbekistan Visited PetrSU

In early November, a delegation from Bukhara State Medical Institute named after Abu Ali ibn Sina visited PetrSU. The delegation included Rector Shukhrat Zhumaevich Teshayev and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Laziz Nurkhanovich Niyazov.
The guests met with PetrSU administration and discussed the implementation of the network educational programs "General Medicine" and "Pediatrics."
Fifteen students from Uzbekistan are studying at PetrSU as part of these programs. The students had the opportunity to share their impressions of studying at the Zilber Medical Institute and life in Petrozavodsk. The Rector of Bukhara State Medical Institute previously visited PetrSU on an official visit in 2021, when a Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation was signed.
In September, Bukhara State Medical Institute celebrated its 35th anniversary. Bukhara State Medical Institute is one of the leading universities in the country, ranking second among medical schools.
