Ecological Education in China and Russia
Students majoring in Teacher Education were told about ecological education provided at schools in China and Russia.
The seminar was jointly organized by Svetlana Rubakhina, Associate Professor of the Department of Botany and Physiology of Plants, and Irina Komarova, Associate Professor at the Department of Theory and Methods of Primary Education.
During the seminar, students learned about the organization of ecological education in Chinese and Russian schools. PetrSU student Tu Anh told about the approaches to the organization and implementation of ecological research projects by schoolchildren, their participation in scientific conferences and answered students' questions:
"There were many questions about participation of children in international environmental campaigns. During the school holidays, school organizes ecological camp, where ecological projects and environmental campaigns are implemented. There are supplementary education institutions, but ecological education is provided at school. Ecology is taught in high school as a separate subject, which is completed by an exam".
Students of the 3rd course of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology and the Institute of Biology, Ecology and Agricultural Technologies majoring in Primary Education and Biology and Chemistry.
