Reading the Runes of "Kalevala"

On February 27, Indian 1st, 2nd and 4th-year students of the Zilber Medical Institute took part in a literary evening "Reading the Runes of Kalevala", dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the publication of the Karelian-Finnish epic "Kalevala", which was held in the National Library of the Republic of Karelia as part of the annual cultural "Kalevala Marathon".
First-year students Pathan Zeel Javedkhan, Rawat Palakben Bharatkumar, Prajapati Pranav Vishnukumar, Kumar Mahesh and third-year student Ankit Tripathi read excerpts from the Karelian-Finnish epic in Hindi.
The students prepared for the performance under the guidance of the Associate Professors of the Department of Foreign Languages and Russian as a Foreign Language for Medical Specialties of the Zilber Medical Institute O.M. Sherekhova and N.G. Urvantseva.
