PetrSU Launches Center for Top-Level Educational Programs

The Center for Top-Level Educational Programs strives to become one of the leading Russian centers for training highly qualified IT specialists who are able to confidently navigate the rapidly changing structure of the digital economy.

The main vector of the center's development is aimed at introducing a competency-role approach to higher education, which involves close interaction with high-tech industrial partners, which will create unique conditions for developing a deep understanding of the profession.

During the first week of its activity, the center's employees analyzed the results of interviewing industrial partners on the roles of IT specialists in demand on the labor market.

The top three IT professions in demand are:

·         software engineers,

·         software testers,

·         cybersecurity specialists.

Currently, all employees of the center are beginning training under the advanced training program developed by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University). And representatives of our industrial partners are preparing to take part in a public discussion of competency-role models in order to form unified approaches to training highly qualified specialists in the field of information technology.
