January 25 – Russian Students' Day
This day unites students and faculty, reminding them of the importance of education and scientific inquiry. Student years are a wonderful time when the foundations of the future are laid, and a lifetime of bright ideas and accomplishments lies ahead. It is during this time that true and loyal friends are made, and the foundation for future personal and professional achievements is laid.
I always say that Petrozavodsk State University students are the best in the world! You are talented and confident, proactive and goal-oriented, creative and thoughtful. You actively demonstrate your potential in science, volunteering, community and project activities, and sports, winning grants and winning competitions at the regional, national, and international levels. The university team is proud of each of your achievements; we are confident that nothing is impossible for you!
I extend special congratulations to our university's international students and to PetrSU students studying and completing internships abroad. I hope that, despite being far from home, you continue to boldly pursue new victories and feel part of a large and friendly family called the student body.
Friends, cherish your student life: absorb the knowledge and experience imparted to you by your teachers and mentors, develop and improve yourself so that you can become first-class specialists and well-rounded individuals in the future! Study, dream, dare, and bring your boldest ideas and projects to life! I am confident that PetrSU students have a bright future!
On Russian Student’s Day, I express my gratitude to the faculty and staff, the university veterans who accompany and support our students throughout their studies. Thank you for your professionalism, knowledge, and life experience, for your warmth and care!
Special congratulations on this day to all those with the beautiful name Tatyana, whose name, reflecting the spirit of student life, holds within itself the symbols of eternal youth and beauty. May fate bring you pleasant surprises, gifts, and amazing events, filling your life with joy!
