International Student Programming Camp Has Started at PetrSU

The programming camp held at Petrozavodsk State University is considered one of the most prestigious, providing an opportunity to thoroughly prepare for the World Programming Championship.

70 teams from 27 universities have registered to participate.

The total number of participants exceeds 180. Teams from Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Bangladesh, Egypt, Bolivia, and Syria are participating.

The winter camp program includes five-hour competitions, problem analysis, and final solving. The problem authors include winners and runners-up of world programming championships.

Approximately half of the teams are participating online, while the rest are participating in person at the Petrozavodsk venue (ITMO University, Moscow State University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Higher School of Economics, Nizhny Novgorod State University, Ural Federal University, St. Petersburg State University, Saratov State University, Central University, Innopolis, Yaroslavl State University, and Petrozavodsk State University).

The programming camp in Petrozavodsk takes place after the semifinal qualifiers for the World Championship finals (which will be held in November in Dubai), so for the following teams, this is direct preparation for participation in the 2026 finals: HSE University, ITMO University, Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Novosibirsk State University, St. Petersburg State University, Ural Federal University, Central University, Belarusian University, MEPhI, and Lobachevsky University.
