Presentation of Modern Technologies in Integrated Automation in Construction Industry
At the seminar, the participants discussed fundamentals of computer-aided design, the data connection between design and construction, as well as the technologies that allow saving resources at all stages of design.
On September 19, in the framework of international research and practice conference “Wooden Low-Height Housing Construction: economics, architecture and resource-saving technologies” held at the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences, PetrSU held a seminar for the teachers, students and representatives of the Allbau Software GmbH (general distributor of Nemetschek AG/Germany) – one of the largest European companies that offers construction industries integrated solutions in automation of design, construction and exploitation.
The representatives of the Allbau Software GmbH told about the modern fundamentals of computer-aided design, management of a construction enterprise, and data connection between design and construction, as well as described the technologies that allow saving resources at all stages of design, whether it is an individual house, or a whole high-rise development area.
The participants of the seminar reviewed the modern level of integrated automation in the construction industry of Russia. The focus was drawn to the information modeling of buildings that manages all the life cycle of a construction project and unites architectural, design, technological, economic and other data about a building with all the interrelations and dependencies. The representatives of the Allbau Software GmbH showed the examples of developed models, stages of design of parametric architectural objects in the Allplan system, introduced the libraries of the Allplan CAD system and the functions of the latest version.
The participants of the seminar had an opportunity to learn more about object-oriented design, see the simultaneous work of specialists in all sections of a project, interaction with other CAD systems. Those present also considered the prospects of international self-advertisement of students and educational institution.
By the results of the discussion, the participants drafted proposals for the development of cooperation between PetrSU and the Allbau Software GmbH.
The conference “Wooden Low-Height Housing Construction: economics, architecture, and resource-saving technologies” was organized by the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences of PetrSU with contributions from the Institute of Rational Use of Natural Resources of PetrSU.
The Chairman of the organizational committee was Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Vice-Rector for Scientific Research of PetrSU Vladimir Siunev, the coordinators were the teachers of the IFMCS: Gennady Kolesnikov, Yuliia Nikonova, Mariia Zaitseva, Liudmila Deviatnikova, and Aleksandr Kuzmenkov.
