New Academic Year at the Linguistic Center of PetrSU

This year students from Norway, the USA, China, France, and Belgium came to study Russian as a foreign language.

Since day one the attendants of the courses have immersed themselves in the cultural and social life of our city. So after daily intense studying they go to a gym, cinema, theaters, museums, join various sports clubs of PetrSU, get together with Russian students who eagerly help them in mastering the Russian language.

Recently the weather has held and the students have visited one of the most prominent sights of our Republic: Kizhi Island. The foreign visitors immensely enjoyed the trip and posted enthusiastic comments and colorful pictures.

The demanding language courses and eventful study-free time will help international students improve their language proficiency and learn Russia and Karelia better.
