PetrSU Opened the Second Stage of the Pedagogic Innovation Park

Petrozavodsk State University, Flagship University of Karelia, opened the second stage of the Pedagogic Innopark. The official “launch” of the first stage took place in February. Eight months later there are now more space and opportunities for search, approbation, and development of new methods, technologies, electronic resources.

Schoolchildren, students, teachers now can attend a coworking center, center for career orientation, class of traditions and innovations for pre-school education of the Republic of Karelia, class “Sun City – Territory of Childhood”.

The coworking center will host the Studio of mobile inclusive cinema that will be established by director Vladimir Rudak.

According to the Director of the Resource Center Anna Mugacheva, this platform will unite various national public organizations and students.

The Career Orientation Center welcomes schoolchildren and is eager to help them make the decision about their future professions.

“The platforms of the second stage of the Pedagogic Innovation Park are already in active use. The creation of the new architecture of education (color scheme of the classrooms, their names, concepts) involved students and psychologists. All classrooms and centers are mobile multifunctional spaces that can be transformed for the needs and demands of a teacher. The Pedagogic Innopark is located on ul. Pushkinskaya 17, as well as in the regional resource centers: school No. 8 in Kondopoga, schools in the Loukhsky region, National Library of Karelia,” said Rimma Ermolenko, the Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology.
