Academic Cooperation with the University of Oslo

For the second year students from the University Oslo study for a fall semester (from September to December) at the Linguistic Center of PetrSU. The students attend a program designed specifically for them that includes an intensive course in the Russian language, literature and regional studies, as well as preparation for Russian as a foreign language test.

The results show that the Norwegian students have considerably increased their language proficiency, as they have successfully passed academic exams and TRFL-1, TRFL-2, and TRFL-3.

In their free time, the students got familiar with the culture and traditions of Russia and the Republic of Karelia, visited museums and saw the sights of Petrozavodsk, Moscow, and Saint Petersburg. They have made many friends among PetrSU students and young people in our city.
