The Linguistic Center of PetrSU Summed up the Semester
Around 40 foreign citizens from Belgium, Vietnam, China, Latvia, Norway, Poland, the USA, France, and other countries have studied at the Linguistic Center on various educational programs from September till December 2019.
The students have been actively engaged in the cultural life of PetrSU and Petrozavodsk.
Thus, William Murawski (USA) and Jean Michel Gillet (Belgium) have attended the presentation of a book on architect Lazar Chinenov and the exposition of the Center of Military Glory of Petrozavodsk.
Dan Szetela from Massachusetts recited poems at the poetry night of the SLOVO Agency. He also sings in Russian and uses the Russian language in his creative endeavors.
Johanna Femy (France) enjoyed going to theatrical and musical performances.
Among the most memorable were the events held by the Scientific Library of PetrSU and the Petrozavodsk State Glazunov Conservatory.
The teachers and employees of the Linguistic Center of PetrSU have immensely appreciated working and spending time with the foreign students and have done their best to introduce them to the Russian culture, customs and traditions.
The team of the Center is looking forward to hosting new students at PetrSU!
