Bahriddin Qalandarov has come to PetrSU on exchange from Tajik State Finance and Economics University.

The student is studying the 2nd year course at the Institute of Economics and Law of PetrSU.

“The University has switched to distance education and thanks to modern technologies we have free access to information. During the isolation and limitations of personal contacts, the university has introduced changes to the study process. I think that the transfer to online studying is beneficial for us, students, as it protects us from the disease.

I use various platforms such as Zoom, etc. Thanks to them I have access to educational resources. When I need to do my homework I take a photo of documents and send them by email or upload them to the University’s platforms such as Moodle2, etc. When I first started studying online I faced many challenges, as I’ve never before studied in this format, so different from traditional education. Now I understand this system and study well. This form of studying allows me to do my homework at my convenience. All the same, I sometimes get bored sitting at home every day, mostly since I cannot do my favorite sport, judo. In my free time, I play tennis and cook my favorite dishes: pilaf and potatoes.”
