Summer in the Botanical Garden of PetrSU
Liudmila Fokina, a mathematician and PetrSU graduate, shares her photos of the nature and wildlife of the Botanical Garden.
The first day of summer has long been considered a special occasion. This day signifies the awakening of nature from winter slumber. The Botanical Garden of PetrSU, too, is welcoming summer.
Liudmila Fokina shared her beautiful photos:
“I enjoy bird watching and taking photos. Birds are magnificent. They are so diverse, you have to chase them, watch, try to capture them in flight. Sometimes it takes hours of “hunting” to take a picture. It is exciting. I do it for myself and bring joy to my friends. I have taken part in the city exhibition dedicated to birds. I want to take a photo of an oriole, wood grouse, owl, great gray owl.”
