Congratulations on the Anniversary of PetrSU

«On behalf of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and my behalf I congratulate the Rector Anatoly Voronin, the faculty, employees, and students of PetrSU on the 80th anniversary of the university!

Over the past years, the university has come a long way and has become one of the largest centers that train highly qualified specialists required on the labor market. Today Petrozavodsk State University is among the leaders in the fields of information technologies and microelectronics, biomedicine and forestry sciences, Northern European studies, and international cooperation.

There is no doubt that the university will continue to contribute to the social and economic development of the Republic of Karelia, the Northwestern Federal District, and the Russian Federation.
