Bonjour! International French Language Day
On November 26, teachers and students of the Institute of Foreign Languages of PetrSU (program "Teacher education with two specialties in the French and English Languages") celebrated the International French Language Teachers’ Day by participating in the eventsof the French Institute in Russia.
The French Institute has prepared a diverse program: dictation in French, webinars with the leading experts, lectures.
More than 200 French language teachers from all over Russia participated in various activities. Among them were students and teachers of the Institute of Foreign Languages NadezhdaBarymova, TatianaTatarina and Ekaterina Khankevich. The program was very challenging and interesting. The most popular and demanded webinars are the following:
“In search of the ideal methodology”, lecturer: Jean-Claude Becco, professor emeritus of the University of Paris III New Sorbonne.
“French song in class”, lecturer - Michel Boiron, Director General of CAVILAM – Alliance Française de Vichy center.
“Enhancing Student Motivation” led by Elisabeth Louveau, University Center of French Studies, Grenoble.
“Thanks to the creative and motivated teachers of PetrSU, the French language remains in demand among students,”
- noted the participants of the meeting.
