International Сonference on Translators Training
Nadezhda Leushina, lecturer of the Institute of Foreign Languages of PetrSU, took part in the international scientific conference devoted to " Translators Training: Worldwide Systems and Approaches Analysis" (December 5-6, 2020).
The international research laboratory "Theoretical and Applied Problems of Translation Studies" of the High School of Translation and Interpreting of Nizhny Novgorod State Linguistic University named after Nikolai Dobrolyubov, became the organizer of the conference.
Scientists from Russia, Belarus, France, China, Australia, and Afghanistan joined the conference. University professors and practicing translators discussed relevant issues of structure, content, methods of translators training, translators and teachers of translation training experience in different countries. The conference was held online.
Nadezhda Leushina, lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages for Technical and Natural Sciences of PetrSU, has reported on the use of linguo-translation commentary in teaching translation from French into Russian. The report prompted great interest and many questions from the participants of the section "Translation Didactics: Teaching Translation Methods and Techniques".
