PetrSU signed a cooperation agreement with ELEKTRON TA'LIM TA'MINOT (Uzbekistan), an innovative educational company.
The subject of the agreement signed by PetrSU Rector Anatoly Voronin and Muhamajon Aliyev, the Director of ELEKTRON TA'LIM TA'MINOT, is a partnership aimed at attracting citizens from Uzbekistan and Central Asia to Petrozavodsk State University to study on higher education programs, training highly qualified specialists, scientific and pedagogical personnel, as well as developing cultural and humanitarian ties between the peoples of Russia and Uzbekistan.
The priority areas of cooperation are: monitoring the need among the prospective students to study on PetrSU programs correlating to the demand for specialists in Uzbekistan; launch of a distance learning platform; guiding through the educational process during the entire period of the study; development of joint projects aimed at further cooperation in education; organization of joint events, including seminars, conferences, meetings, etc.
ELEKTRON TA'LIM TA'MINOT (Uzbekistan) is an innovative educational company functioning as the IT-park resident within UZINFOCOM - a single integrator for the creation and support of public information systems in Uzbekistan, a member of the International Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (MAPRYAL). The organization is engaged in IT educational projects.
