On February 18, partners of the Karelia CBC Program will hold an informational and educational webinar on the future technologies in cross-border tourism, Russian and Finnish tour companies’cooperation on the promotion of innovative and attractive digital and other services intourism and hospitality.

On February 18, partners of the Karelia CBC Program will hold an informational and educational webinar on the future technologies in cross-border tourism, Russian and Finnish tour companies’cooperation on the promotion of innovative and attractive digital and other services intourism and hospitality. 

The webinarwill discuss the current tourismdevelopmentin the border regions, the prospects for Russian and Finnish companies’cooperation in creating new and improving existing tourist, hotel and other services, as well as introducing service thinking and advanced information and telecommunication technologies into the tourism business. The webinar will be held in cooperation with the projects KA-3004 “Cultural Training and Activation Initiative”and KA-8016 “Cooperation of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises in Tourism” supportedby the Karelia CBC Program. 

The webinar speakers will bethe popular tourist TV programs and festivals presenters Viktor Bychkov and Ville Haapasalo, famous experts in digitalization in the field of tourism Laura Olin and Anu Nylund.
