"Pedagogy of Cooperation"
The Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology jointly with colleagues from Donetsk National University held the online round table on "North and South - Republic of Karelia - Donetsk People's Republic - Petrozavodsk - Donetsk: Pedagogy of Cooperation".
The participants have discussed the problems and prospects for cooperation in the higher teaching education at Petrozavodsk State University and Donetsk National University, determined the areas of the network cooperation, a range of network educational programs.
On behalf of the rector and in her personal capacity, Marina Gvozdeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, welcomed the participants of the round table. Marina Gvozdeva positively assessed the intention of the Institutes to move beyond words since the universities have signed an agreement on cooperation, which now should be filled with content. Network forms of education, academic mobility are recognised not only as today’s challenges in contemporary higher education, but also as important resources and opportunities of educational organizations.
On behalf of Donetsk National University, Elena Skafa, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Methodological Activities and Education, Professor, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, welcomed the participants of the meeting. She noted the significance of the meeting, looked forward to continued and fruitful cooperation.
Rimma Ermolenko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Director of the Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology, thanked colleagues from Donetsk National University for the opportunity to participate and relevant ideas of organization of the international conference in December.
Marina Fadeeva, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, the Head of the Department of Teaching and Child Psychology, told about the activities at the Department and interesting experience of inter-university cooperation among teachers of the Department and students. She also suggested colleagues discussing the specific areas of the networking cooperation.
Svetlana Smirnova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, the Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary Education, informed colleagues of the history of the Department and expressed her willingness to develop cooperation. Elena Kaz’ko, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary Education, the Head of Teaching Laboratory at a rural school, told about the key events of the laboratory, a special course on issues of rural underfilled school. The topic is noteworthy, Donetsk People's Republic is ahead of us in terms of the number of schools located in rural areas.
Irina Komarova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Theory and Methodology of Primary Education, presented her point of view regarding the Student project office, which is coming into operation in the nearest time with Irina as its head, and made a proposal to arrange a pedagogical stand-up.
Elena Eremka, Director of the Institute of Teaching at Donetsk National University, Candidate of Biological Sciences, told about the young, but significant Institute for the republic. In August 16, 2019, a new structure was established at DonNU - the Institute of Pedagogy, which includes the Department of Teaching, the Department of Preschool and Primary Education, the Department of Special Defectological Education and Music Teaching Education. The heads of the departments also shared their plans and interest to cooperate.
"As for now, we should analyze the meeting, discuss with colleagues at the departments, exchange the program on cooperation and - get to work. Certainly, the priority of our Teaching Innovation Park is to prepare a teacher of the future for the northern regions of Russian Federation",
