About Studying on Exchange Program in Spain
Alexandra Kuznetsova, student of the Institute of Philology of PetrSU, told about studying on exchange program at the University of RoviraiVirgili (Spain).
"I would like to tell you about one of the most wonderful experiences of my life. My training at the University of RoviraiVirgili was initially a risky decision given the situation in the world. Nevertheless, I managed to get the documents and leave, and yet I could spend an unforgettable six months in a wonderful place, surrounded by wonderful people who have become my friends.
All my disciplines concerned my direction. I studied the theory of the English language, the history of English-speaking countries and world literature. We also had training in speaking. The classes lasted longer than ours - 2 hours each on the average. All training classes were conducted online. But, at the last, it was not the worst decision, since remote learning opened more opportunities for traveling accross Spain, mostly in Catalonia.
The restrictions did not give me the chance to meet my classmates, but they gave me the opportunity to meet wonderful people from different countries who also came to Spain on exchange program.
Livingundercircumstances of Covid was not easy, and I couldn't accomplish many things during my stay in Tarragona. But I can safely say that you can find something good and gain experiencein any situation.
I think I had become a more experienced person in terms of life experienceby the timeI came back. I had to make up my mind, get used to living conditions in a country with other customs and culture.
I believe that experience inspired me to travel further and showed me that I shouldn’tbe afraid of change.
Thus, you can safely apply for study in the country with the most beautiful sunsets!
