Final Conference of KA-4022 BUSY Project

On November 11, PetrSU employees and partner organizations’ representatives took part in the final event aimed to sum up the results of the three-year work on the implementation of the KA-4022 project on youth entrepreneurship and self-employment development within the framework of the Karelia CBC Programme.

The conference had a hybrid nature. Finnish participants and partners, including Finnish experts from the University of Applied Sciences of Oulu, BusinessOulu Regional Development Agency of Oulu, took part in the online conference on Zoom. PetrSU specialists, the Corporation for Development of the Republic of Karelia, the Karelian Regional Youth Center and other parties gathered in the Peter Inn conference hall to analyze the results achieved within the framework of the project during the Oulu-Petrozavodsk teleconference.

The partners presented reports on the project results, considered the further use of the created educational resources, online courses, analytical materials, educational and methodological resources, models of support for young entrepreneurs and people planning to start their own business.

PetrSU specialists conducted consulting meetings with Finnish colleagues on the prospects for further work aimed at the implementation of training, consulting and support for young businessmen. The partners reached a number of agreements on the future cooperation in the implementation of intensive thematic trainings for young entrepreneurs and on the joint participation of universities in projects on this issue.
